Naughty Puppy Thursday: Drawstring Obsession

Chester has an obsession with drawstrings. He loves to chew on them. As Adam said, "You never know how many items of clothing you have with drawstrings on them until Chester" is around. I know we should be more disciplined, and not let him, but it all started when he was a puppy and hard to keep entertained for any period of time. But if a drawstring was around, he would sit contentedly on your lap and chew. I have a grey sweatshirt that seems to be his favorite. He always seems to find it in the bedroom, and then will drag it around the house chewing. He's such a joyful chewer of drawstrings that we just can't tell him no. He's not allowed to chew everything with a drawstring, just certain old sweatshirts that we don't really care about.

Even his favorite toys have that designation because they have a "drawstring" - like elephant's tail or pig's tail. He'll just sit and chew on the tail, like it's bubble gum.
