An unexpected Twins game

Remember when I said our last Twins game of the year was on August 11? I (unknowingly) lied. On Monday at work I was asked if I wanted two tickets to the Twins game on Wednesday. Ummm yes! They ended up being great seats too - Section 110, Row 5.

It was a warm day, but by the evening, it was the perfect temp for a ball game.

Here's the view from our seats (no zoom).

Adam finally got to have the Cuban sandwich he's been wanting to try, and I went for cheesecurds as I've been craving them ever since I didn't get them at the State Fair.

Since the 2014 All Star Game at Target Field had just been announced that day, there was a little ceremony before the game with previous Twins All-Star team players.

They didn't waste any time and already had a banner up in the outfield.

Deduno pitched, which was really lucky for us as I've been wanting to see him pitch but it just never worked out. He pitched a great game! I think he only gave up two hits and lasted into the 8th.

And Twins won 10-0! With how bad they've been this year, it's unusual to witness such a decisive Twins victory.

Fun night (for everyone except Chester)!
