So I'm about a day behind on blogging due to the long weekend...
Tuesday night we went to our 9th Twins game of the year, 7th at Target Field.
We were in the second row of the Grandstand. They weren't bad seats, but not "awesome" either as described by the clowns in front of us that arrived in the 5th inning and then talked the WHOLE TIME. I honestly can't figure out how you go to a baseball game only to sit and chat the whole time. Super annoying.
The Twins played the Tampa Bay Rays. Despite the best efforts of Matt Capps, the Twins won 3-2. Matt Capps came in at the top of the 9th as the closer and gave up a home run with his first pitch. It made for a rather stressful last inning until he was replaced with Perkins...
It was a perfect night to watch a ball game, and the 7th Twins win in a row that we were at.
I may actually be becoming a Twins/baseball fan. Is that possible?
