Foodie Friday: Homegrown Berries

Due to the hot weather, we haven't done a whole lot of cooking - mostly grilling. But we do have some fun things growing in our back yard - namely, black raspberries.

While I don't enjoy them as much as regular raspberries, they're still good. We do have some red raspberries growing as well, but it doesn't look like there will be as many as we had last year. It's funny how last year we had only a handful of black raspberries, and tons of red raspberries. This year it looks to be reversed, and will probably be reversed again next year since they seem to be on a two year cycle. As long as we have some berries, I'm happy.
