Foodie Friday: Shepherd's Pie

For St. Patrick's Day, Adam and I made Shepherd's Pie. This version was much better than the one we made last November for our Guy Fawkes Day party with friends. It had a lot more flavor, and had cheese on top! Yum. The potato was garlic mashed, and for the filling we used ground venison and beer.

This picture doesn't do it justice. It was REALLY good.

It looks like it takes a lot longer to prepare than it actually does. To cut down the prep time, Adam and I worked together, and made the filling and topping at the same time. We'll definitely be making this again.
