Chester loves swirlies from US Bones
We were turned onto US Bones after getting a gift basket from them at the MN Midwest Pug Rescue Paw-a-ween event. While Chester isn't allowed to have rawhides, there were a few items in the basket he really liked - bully sticks and "swirlies."
Swirlies are made from the same "tendon" as bully sticks (google if you really want to know what it's made out of), except for they come from steers instead of bulls. They are also curled up in a circle shape.
Swirlies are now called "cookies" in our household. A swirlie can last Chester up to a few days if we only let him chew for an hour each day. Otherwise, it will occupy him for a couple hours in one sitting. This chew has been a lifesaver on many occasions when we just need him to be quietly occupied. I just ordered 9 more today. Thank God for swirlies.
Another reason I love U.S. Bones is they donate 10% of your order $ to a rescue or shelter of your choice. Awesome. You select from a list of rescues they support. Of course we always pick MN Pug Rescue.
