Saturday morning we left to meet my fam in Roch to pick up our brand new 2013 GMC Terrain SLT. As I previously mentioned, we had been looking at one that was at the dealership. However, I really wanted a power lift gate, which was only available if you got leather. I ended up pricing it out, and it wasn't all that much more to get what we really wanted. We were able to find one at a dealership not too far away so they did a dealer trade on it. It's perfect! And we love it!
See ya silver Grand Prix!
Helloooooo Terrain!

Once back in town, we went right to the DMV and got all the taxes paid, title and new plates. Exciting! Then we raced home, where I got all the gifts together and Adam made the app to take over to his parents for our Christmas with his family.
We got over there around 4:30. There were lots of yummy snacks and Robin made her delicious crab chowder. Chester even dressed up for the occasion.
We also exchanged gifts. First, we gave Robin her birthday present. Chester was a big help opening it!
As usual, Chester really got into the gift opening.
He got an assortment of fun new toys in his stocking. He loved it!
Adam and Chester got a "Father-Son" gift.
Jackets!
We gave Adam's brother a CrockPot,
and his parents something for their sprinkler system.
And of course Chester gave a photo of him with Santa!
We received generous gifts as well like the earrings and necklace I'm wearing, a new pan, some jucy lucy making stuff,
and a portable bluetooth speaker (which I used when I was cleaning the house on Sunday).
On Sunday, Adam went ice fishing all morning with a work buddy, but got home in time to watch the game with me. Chester and I slept in, and then I did a lot of housework and putting away of all of our Christmas gifts. Then we watched the super stressful but exciting Vikings vs Packers game. I was so nervous, but the Vikings pulled off the win to make it into the playoffs! I was so stressed I had no appetite for dinner. Haha!
