Weekend Recap: Wedding & Receptions

This was the weekend of weddings. Friday night, we went to a wedding for one of Adam's co-workers. It was a little awkward for me as the only person there that I knew was Adam. However, we still had a great time. And it was nice to finally put faces with a lot of the names of people from Adam's work!

The wedding itself was outside. It was chilly, so the bride and groom thoughtfully provided fleece blankets for their guests, which was very much appreciated.

The photo booth was a fun touch. I wish we would have had one at our wedding!

They also had Cold Stone ice cream instead of cake. Yum! The coffee ice cream was delicious!

Adam and I were dancing fools. He had a little liquid help, but for me, it was just not knowing anyone that really helped me cut loose. It was a great time!

On Saturday, I drove to the Wedding Open House for the daughter of one of my mom's college friends. My cousin Kelly rode with me there, and we had a nice convo which made the hour long ride go by quickly. It was fun seeing my fam and family friends!

My sister was quite hilarious as well. While looking through a Greece guidebook she announced,
"Oh my gosh, did you know Mt. Olympus isn't just a waterpark in the Dells?"

I got home around 10 that night and was greeted by Adam and a snuggly puppy.

Sunday was mostly a day for relaxing. We went to lunch at Smashburger - really good burgers and deep fried pickles! - and ran some errands. I still haven't found flat boots though. Sadface. Someday.

Then it was home to watch the Vikings fail and finally relax. Fun weekend!
