I didn't feel well most of the weekend, so there's not a whole lot to recap! We did enjoy being able to just relax and not have a lot to do, for once.
On both Saturday and Sunday, Chester and I had a snuggle fest in bed until at least 11. It was glorious.
Saturday, I finished harvesting our garden before the big freeze. I cleaned and froze some dill, oregano, and basil. But most of the basil I made into pesto to freeze.
On Sunday, we got together at a park with Adam's dad's side of the family. It was nice to see everyone, and it was actually a lot warmer than I thought it would be.
Chester and Mowgli (the other dog there, a large black lab) were not friends, so I spent most of the time trying to keep Mowgli out of sight of Chester or barking ensued. Chester and I did have a nice fall walk around the whole perimeter of the park though.
After a few hours, we went over to Curt & Robin's to watch the Vikings game and have nachos. Yum. I love nachos at their house. This time Curt smoked some beef, which was delicious! And as Adam says, I'm picky about my protein, so for me to love it is really something. We also had some yummy apple crisp. Best of all, the Vikings won!
Like I said, not much to recap, but a nice low-key weekend nonetheless.
