My cousin Kelly goes to school up here now, so she rode with us as well. We got back to my parent's place around 8, and were greeted by a very excited little puggy!
There was lots of squealing and many kisses.
Saturday morning was the big Maple Leaf parade.
This was my sister's last year marching in the Maple Leaf parade. I don't think she's too sad about that. Especially with this cheer section.
My fam had their usual spot, and it was fun to socialize, drink, and watch the parade. The weather was perfect!
We even (briefly) met up with some friends from the cities.
After the parade, we went out on my parent's pontoon for a few hours.
The fall colors were beautiful and the sky was so blue. I wish I would have brought the Canon with on the boat! All I had with was my Cybershot to take a few photos of the great scenery.
Then we went over to my aunt and uncle's for dinner, before heading out to the Oktoberfest grounds for about an hour. Adam wasn't feeling well, so he wasn't in the mood for festing.
We enjoyed sleeping in on Sunday morning, and then took some family Christmas card photos. Then we were off to Sam's birthday party.
Again, it was a lovely day to be outside.
We were ready to head back home though. Chester had a great visit with my fam, but I think he was happy to be home too!
