We got there about an hour early. First, we got food.
Four $1 hot dogs to start for Adam.
Cheesy helmet fries for me. $8 for this trash? What a rip-off!
Then we wandered around a bit. I finally found where the Good Sport/Designated Driver booth was. They have these at Vikings games too. You fill out your info on a little sheet of paper, promise to not get any drinks at the game (I never do anyway...) and you get a voucher for a free medium pop. Okay so I'm not really a pop drinker, but it's free! Come on! Of course I was all over it...
This would come back to bite me later as I tried to fall asleep at home. I don't normally drink much caffeine so my body isn't used to it = wide awake at 1 am. ugh.
While I was getting my FREE pop, Adam got 2 more dollar dogs. Yes, that's right, he had SIX dollar dogs. Yuck.
The Twins didn't play the best, what else is new, but we still had a fun time. It was cool to see Jered Weaver pitch even though he didn't pitch a no hitter. And of course Liriano was his usual disaster, but he actually lowered his ERA a bit in this outing. Which really is pathetic...

And the Twins FINALLY picked up on my suggestion (clearly they could hear me say it loudly every game we went to) and used live mascots for the race instead of just having it on the stupid video screen. It was pretty awesome. Go Skeeta!

We headed out in the 8th inning since it was already 10 pm and we obviously had work the next day. I of course had to stop to get a photo on our way out of the new Bullseye sign on Target Center where the ugly Sanford Health one used to be. It even "wags" its tail!
A big "thank you" to Adam's parents for the tickets!!!
