Day 7
Goodbye warmth! Goodbye green grass! Flying home!
Saturday marked our return home to the frozen land of Minnesota. It was sad to leave Florida, but I was looking forward to seeing Adam and Chester again even if I wasn't looking forward to the cold.
We got up around 6:20 am, got ready and finished packing. Then we headed across the resort to the lobby and bus to the airport.

The bus picked us up at 7:45 am, 3 hours before our flight. We arrived at the airport at 8:30, where we ate a little breakfast. Then it was off to Atlanta at 10:42 am. Oh the joys of booking too late and not being able to fly direct... I had never been to Atlanta before. Not that sitting in the airport terminal really counts. So I guess I've still never been to Atlanta.
Our flight to Minneapolis left at 1 pm, and we were there by 2:30. Adam kindly picked us up. I must say, the cold air was a harsh reality check, but it was exciting to see him and little Chester. Though Chester had really bonded with Adam while I was gone so now they're best buds instead of me and him. But I know he'll return to me and I'll be his favorite once again (don't tell Adam).
I spent the rest of Saturday at home on the couch feeling sick. I had started feeling stuffy with a sore throat on Friday, and the flying just seemed to make it worse.
Thus concludes my Florida trip recap. Adam said he got a little bored with it, so hopefully all 3 of my other readers didn't as well. We had such a fun time together in Florida. I couldn't believe how quickly it went by!
