we celebrated Valentine's Day with a quiet evening at home.
After work, I stopped by Christine's dorm to give her a few Valentine's Day gifts.
Then I stopped at Byerly's to get a few pounds of mussels. I ended up with 3 which was more than enough!
At home, Adam surprised me with a dozen beautiful pink roses. They weren't this odd neon color in person!
I gave him a few treats and "Love Tickets" for fun things like lunch together, movie date of your choice, etc.
Then we made dinner together. We gorged ourselves on mussels steamed in white wine+tomato+garlic. They were amazing.
Pupper even got a present!
It's hard to see, but it's a rabbit Tuffy Toy.
The rest of the weekend we spent relaxing and doing little projects around the house. It was delightful.
Lazy days when we all stay home are pretty much Chester's favorite thing ever!
