Laura's Wedding: Gift Opening & Spam Museum

We enjoyed sleeping in a bit the next morning until 9. We got ready, packed, loaded up the car, and then headed to the lobby for the gift opening at 10. It lasted about an hour.

After the gift opening, I helped pack up the decor from the reception,

and then said our goodbyes.

Our next must see activity, the Spam Museum, didn't open until noon, so we headed over to Culver's to grab lunch. The Spam Museum is pretty awesome. I visited it with my mom and sister back in 2005 when we were getting the dresses for my cousin Kasey's wedding altered in Austin (she didn't live far from there and it's where she ordered the dresses from).

Back in 2005 -

and in 2013 -

It's really well done, and Adam said it actually made him hungry for Spam. And he's usually a Spam hater. We even bought two kinds of Spam - Garlic and Spicy.

On the way home, we made a brief stop at Cabela's to look at the fish. Adam didn't want to, but I insisted.

Then we picked up Chester and Adam's parent's house. He was quite excited to see us! At home, we unpacked and relaxed. It was a busy but fun weekend.

You may be admiring Adam's shirt. We got it as a gift from John, Nicolle and Carolina a few years ago. I claimed it for myself and use it to sleep in on vacations to remember Chester. Adam forgot to pack a t-shirt for the weekend, so all he had were dress shirts. I lent him my sleeping shirt. Now I may never get it back... Afterall, it does look good on him!
