Weekend Recap: Adam Returns + Stout

After work on Friday, I did a lot of housework. I wanted it to be spotless for Adam's return! I picked him up at the airport around 10:45 pm. Chester was so excited to see him; he went crazy. There was lots of yipping and racing around like a maniac.

When he calmed down a bit, Adam picked him up and got lots of kisses.

The next morning we slept in and had some time to chat while I packed for Stout. Chester was helpful, as always.

My mom and her friends were having a college reunion weekend at Stout (where they went to college). My cousin Caroline goes there now and is about to graduate. I met them on campus at 1. We then toured their old dorm - apparently it hasn't changed much.

We had a delicious lunch together. I had a pint of cider and great portebella, onion and pepper sandwich. So good.

On our way back to the hotel we drove by their old house. I brought my clothes in to the hotel, and then we were off to Eau Claire to shop for an hour and a half. The way home was an epic adventure to find a Shamrock shake. On our third try we were successful! Yum! We even brought one back for Christine and Kelly.

We met up with my dad, sister, Kelly and Bill at the hotel. I quickly put my suit on and raced down to the pool. After a bit, we all went out for dinner, and then back to the hotel to hang out.

In the morning, we went our separate ways. It was fun to see everyone!

Adam and Chester enjoyed their time at home snuggling.

Sunday afternoon was a day to relax and catch up on our shows we missed while Adam was gone - The Following and The Walking Dead.
